Id tell him your full of it till you show me some proof. Otherwise i wouldnt pay any attention to what he says. This reminds me of running into a tool a while back saying with his 99 mustang GT he smokes SS camaro's all the time there easy to beat and has no issues what so ever. I called BS before he stopped talking especially with just a K&N, i told him i will give you a head start 2 cars and by the end of my 3rd gear i will easily pass you. Mind you the reason why i raced him is the first thing he told me when i 1st met the tool wasnt whats up man it was ohh your they guy who drives a slow ass SS so i was more then happy to give a good ass whoopin. After that he goes and tells our mutual friend what do you expect he has an SS, lol. People always talk, if your gonna talk you betta back it up because your opening youself to people that will call you out.

The guy might of just snatched an LS6 out of a totalled '02 Z06. I've seen it done before. Every once an awhile you'll catch an LS2, LS3, LS6 at the salvage yard.

There was a guy selling an LS2 on ebay the other day for 500$. 14K miles. Unfortunately he sold it before I found the auction. Why can I never find a deal like that?

somebody probably told him that some f-bodies came with z06 blocks and he assumes he has one.no real power advantage anyway, the ls6's magic was in the cam and heads.

You can get them just about anywhere.

www.bmrfabrication.com
UMI ( link already given)
WS6store.com

i usually buy suspension parts form Strano or BMR because of their great directions if you need them, BMR has a website that gives you lots of how to videos.

Go fuck yourself I do know what a strut bar is.

First off. stop acting out like a 12 year old. we can all swear it just shows a limited vocabulary.

It's good that you know everything. Even though you asked the strange question like you didn't know what it was. Lastly it's not a "strut bar" it's a Shock Tower Brace, as F-Bodies have Shocks not struts.

Ya I hear ya. My wifes new aquisition came with it. When I started doing headers, plugs, wires,,,I was constantly trying to work around that damn thing,,,it was bolted under the cowl and everything so it wasn't like it was simple to remove everytime I wanted to work on it,,,and I got tired of trying to be a contortionist so I pitched it.

ooh, so it was a 3 point one..... good thing you removed it I have heard of numerous complaints of broken wind sheilds because of the stress moved to an area that was not designed for that type of pressure.

Ya it had 2 bolts that went up under the cowl too. Had an Edelbrock sticker on it I think. Don't know anything of broken windshield complaints but I guess that could be a possibility. I have a hard time imagining that much movement though.

I just removed it because it was a pain to work around. I don't need something like that anyway for what we use the cars for. If it simply went from one side to the other and could be removed with 2 simple bolts in a matter of seconds,,,I may have kept it on there,,,I mean since it came with the car.
