From Support

Ensure that they are loggin into www.domain.com and not domain.com. The latter will cause cookie conflicts.

Clear your cookies and temporary internet files. Its very very highly possible you have two cookies conflicting with each other.

I cannot vote on the "are you getting knocked off log" question.

It seems when I select a post to view, eg:"Huge list of high end items" from Parts For Sale, I become logged out and cannot respond to the seller. If I try to log in it will not accept my pass word. If I then go back one page I am logged back on.

Today while attempting to respond to aggiez28 the seller of the above items I was logged off as above. When I clicked back to Parts For Sale the post was no longer there and the only way I could find it was to click on my browser's history and select it from there. I could not send mail or personal message to aggiez28. I could not find aggiez28 on the membership list site. I also tried to find other members on the list who wern't listed. Is it possible that members just comming back since the site recon is what is causing the "getting logged off" problems that some of us are experiencing. Just trying to fiquire it out

See ya' Adude

I haven't been on in a few days, and I never had the problem before today.

I read the thread and changed my bookmarks to http://www.ls1.com/forums/.

I also cleared out my cookies (actually I use a program called ccleaner thats pretty good about cleaning up everything).

I got booted out 3-4 times before I did the above, and probably another 3 times since, all in the last hour. I did notice this though: usually in the upper right hand it says welcome, username and gives all my stats. I've noticed that sometimes it reverts back to the default username (not hammertime), has the check in the box for remember me, and the password entry is blank. If I go forward to another page, I get the prompt to login. If I go back, my username and stats are back in the upper right corner.

Hope this helps you guys in some way.

Thanks:wave:

Mine still does it. Please don't say anything about cookies or adding "www"; I'm a member of many differnt vBulletin forums and have never had this problem. It's really annoying!

There are other VB forums besides us that is having this problem.
Its all being talk about on the VB support forums.

Are the ones your on running version 3.5.3?

Support suggests, logging in and then logging right back out.

It sounds like Hammertime in#48 is having the identicle stuff I had. I just kept trying to logoff and log back on when I wasn't recognised and finally today it seemed to stick. I have had no trouble today and I have been here alot today. I really think we all got dumped when they re-did the Forums and the site is having a hard time keeping us identified upon re registering but eventually ,if you keep trying, it remembers us, you ,whatever.

It finally worked for me today,,,See ya, Adude
