Differences between a LQ4 & 9 are just the pistons. 9's are flat top and 4's are dish. 9's have higher compression ratio over the 4's.
End goal is really street/DD.
On the engine build though ....
Lets say you build a 5.3 ....... so ballpark $1k for good
Got the UMI connects in, but need to tighten rear LCA bolt on the pass side for sure. Got the clunk. Nice product and good fit for sure though.
So I'm finding out that the torque converter I have is junk and the older style th350 won't work with the flywheel on my 01 5.3 motor. So can anyone lead
